The client contracted me to create a master bath with a refined rustic look and Victorian detailing. The space was vast, so scale was a huge concern in order to make the bathroom feel intimate and keep all the details in proportion. I turned to my cabinet supplier, Annapolis Kitchen and Bath, and Holiday Kitchens knowing they had all the moulding details and customization options to create the furniture looking vanities we wanted along with the shaped vanity bridge to connect it all together. Using the character oak and inset cabinet doors gave us the bit of rustic charm we needed to keep the room from being too formal while the applied mouldings gave us the Victorian detail we wanted. The claw foot tub reinforced the Victorian tone while we mixed polished nickel plumbing with champagne and bronze finishes on the accents for a modern collected feel. All the elements came together perfectly and the overall finished product far surpassed my client’s expectations.
